Accessibility Statement

How we make petmonkey.co.uk accessible: our WCAG 2.2 AA aim, keyboard and reduced-motion support, known limitations and how to ask for help.

Last updated: 9 October 2026

In short: We want everyone to be able to use petmonkey.co.uk. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. If anything is hard to use, please tell us and we will help.

What we do

  • Keyboard navigation: menus, links, forms, the basket and checkout can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Reduced motion: animations pause automatically when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Text alternatives: product and content images have descriptive alt text.
  • Colour contrast: text and buttons are designed to meet WCAG AA contrast levels.
  • Structure: pages use headings, lists and labelled form fields so they work with screen readers.
  • Zoom: you can enlarge text up to 200% using your browser’s zoom.

Known limitations

  • The card payment fields at checkout (provided by Stripe), the Trustpilot widget and the carrier’s parcel-tracking website are run by third parties. We cannot fully control how accessible their content is.
  • Some older content may not yet meet every WCAG 2.2 AA requirement. We fix issues as we find them.
